Hello all. I always thought it was a pity that Dick Powell, having played Raymond Chandler's Marlowe in FARWELL MY LOVELY, never reprised that role. Then I learned that he did film another Philip Marlowe mystery for TV. THE LONG GOODBYE was broadcast as part of the "Climax!" series in 1954 -- so they obvious question coming is: does anybody possibly have it? Has anyone even seen it?

Alongside Powell is a cast that includes: Tom Drake, Horace McMahon, Cesar Romero and Teresa Wright! Now that's good casting!

For anyone who yearns for more hard-boiled Powell-esque detectives, Powell himself starred in the radio show RICHARD DIAMOND; which is available here on the archive!

Thanks for reading and any help anyone can give!!
